Rebekah C. Ghattas
Rebekah joined Mitchell-Handschuh Law Group in 2023 as an associate attorney. She represents clients in the transportation and logistics industry in matters involving freight claims and business litigation, collections, corporate governance, and transactional matters. She assists in drafting and reviewing freight logistics and motor carriage agreements, equipment lease agreements, and corporate shareholder and operating agreements.
Rebekah is an exceptional writer and a tenacious advocate who possesses a keen eye for detail. A trustworthy confidant, Rebekah prides herself on providing exceptional legal representation that shows her clients how much she cares about them and their work. She intuitively understands the relational nature of the law and has observed that organizations and individuals are intrinsically connected and cannot maximize their good in isolation.
Before joining Mitchell-Handschuh Law Group, Rebekah worked as a contract manager for a technology company where she drafted, reviewed, and negotiated commercial contracts. She also worked with in-house legal counsel for a Fortune 500 Company where she assisted with oversight of a secure electronic repository for sharing confidential documents as part of a large M&A transaction, and served as a legal policy advisor for the State of Tennessee’s 110th General Assembly. As a law student, Rebekah volunteered at the Clemency Clinic helping the wrongfully accused, was a member of the Transaction Business Law Journal, and served as the school’s Community Service Outreach Chair.
Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Rebekah currently lives in Smyrna with her husband and their young daughter. When she is not working, Rebekah enjoys spending time with her family, crocheting, singing and playing piano, and completing home improvement projects. She also volunteers as an International Justice Mission Advocate, with the YWCA to prevent domestic violence, and with CASA and Safe Haven.
