Davynn P. Brown
Davynn Brown joined Mitchell-Handschuh Law Group as an associate attorney in 2024. Davynn works with the firm’s clients in the transportation and logistics sectors, handling a broad spectrum of legal matters including transactional matters, freight claims and business litigation, collection, and corporate governance. Davynn’s work includes the drafting and review of complex agreements including corporate shareholder and operating agreements, freight logistics and motor carriage agreements, and equipment lease agreements.
Having come to the Mitchell-Handschuh Law Group from a respected regional law firm, Davynn brings with her a wealth of experience that she readily puts to use for the benefits of the firm’s clients in the freight and logistics industry. A gifted communicator, Davynn has the ability to break down and explain complex concepts in a thorough, straightforward manner. She is known for her attention to detail and practical approach to problem-solving and advocacy.
Since joining the firm, Davynn has not shied away from tackling complex legal concerns. She notes, “I enjoy the challenging, fast-paced nature of the work, and the opportunity to work with clients in a field that is ever-growing and affects almost every industry across the nation.” Her work ethic and creativity are appreciated by clients and colleagues alike. Davynn is also committed to excellence in the legal profession, and is a proud member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, the Gate City Bar Association, and the Atlanta Bar Association.
When not working or being involved in the legal community, Davynn enjoys spending time with her large family, especially throwing elaborately-themed parties for her many nieces and nephews. She considers herself a foodie, and in her free time she can often be found exploring Atlanta’s vibrant and varied restaurant scene. An avid reader, Davynn especially enjoys literature by Black women; her favorite author is Ntozake Shange.
